Description

Task Force Tips (TFT) AA series threaded adapters are designed for pressure or vacuum service on a hydrant, pumper or on the ground. Their maximum operating pressure is 300 psi and they are compliant to NFPA 1964 2018 edition which dictates a 900 psi hydrostatic strength test. The aluminum parts are hardcoat anodized per MIL-A-8625F Type III, Class 2 for maximum corrosion protection.

Adapters are permanently marked with the thread size and TPI per NFPA. 2.5” and smaller swivel connections use stainless steel ball bearings, not piston rings, to ensure longevity and easy serviceability. 3” and larger connections use polymer bearing rings which provide electrical isolation to help prevent galvanic corrosion.
