FIREFIGHTING COURSES
PREMIER FIREFIGHTER TRAINING IN ALABAMA
CATS FACILITY OFFERS HANDS-ON FIREFIGHTER TRAINING PROGRAMS
Central Alabama Training Solutions’ firefighter training roots stem back to the company’s start in 2004 when founders Keith Sharp and Dennis Weverink, former firefighters with Tuscaloosa and Montgomery’s departments, respectively, launched CATS’ first firefighter training programs. Since then, the company has grown to include 10 certified instructors and one of central Alabama’s premier firefighting facilities, complete with a burn building for live fire evolutions, underground vessels for confined space courses, gas simulators for propane emergency training and a three-story tower for rope rescue training.
Below are some of the available firefighter training programs offered through CATS.
