CENTRAL ALABAMA’S PREMIUM FIREFIGHTER TRAINING ACADEMY AND OSHA TRAINING CENTER

Central Alabama Training Solutions is Alabama’s premier firefighter training academy and OSHA training center, bringing nearly 20 years of hands-on training experience. Located in Tuscaloosa, the CATS site features an 8-acre drill field with a 9,200-sq.-ft. training facility for in-classroom training, featuring conference room, two large classrooms, full kitchen/dining and even a firefighting confined space maze. The compound also includes a Conex building for live fire evolutions, underground vessels for confined space course, gas simulators for propane emergency training and a three-story tower for rappelling and rope rescue training.

INSTRUCTOR BIOS

Established nearly 20 years ago, Central Alabama Training Solutions combines one of Alabama’s most comprehensive fire and confined space training facilities with a team of professional instructors and standby experts. The team’s knowledge extends beyond the professional firefighting backgrounds obtained through Alabama Fire College and other Pro Board or IFSAC certifications into the special dynamics of OSHA hazmat, confined space and rope rescue training.
